             Wonderful Day

Joseph replied, “Don’t be afraid. Do I act for God? Don’t you see, you planned evil against me, but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. Easy now, you have nothing to fear; I’ll care for you and your children.” He reassured them, speaking with them heart-to-heart.

 – Reflection:

It’s so easy always to be focused on the destination, the dream coming to pass, the problem turning around. You have to learn to enjoy where you are while you’re on the way to where you’re going. Life is not about the destination; it’s about the journey. That’s where you’ll grow. That’s where you’ll see fulfillment and the favor of God. We have to remember that after we reach a goal, there will be another goal. There’ll be another challenge. If we’re not careful, we’ll rush through the day to reach the destination. Slow down and enjoy the journey.

Where do we go from here?

As you move through the life that you are blessed with, enjoy as many of the small milestones that you have been blessed with as possible. It is important to live life and not just try to finish it. We are here to be a blessing and to help others understand how to receive theirs.

Our Prayer for Today

Father,

Thank you for this amazing day You’ve given me. We’re grateful for everything we have right now. Please help us to focus on what’s happening today and not worry about the past or the future. We want to be fully present with our families and not be distracted by other things. Please show us how to balance our goals and dreams with appreciating what we already have. We don’t want to take anything or anyone for granted. Help us enjoy our lives and be happy with what we have. We trust that You will guide us and take care of everything. We give You all of our worries and fears. Thank You for always being there for us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
